Mrs. Vesta Akosua Adutwumwaa Nunoo (FCCA, ICAG, and EMBA) has over Seventeen years’ experience as an accountant. She has been a Fellow of the Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) England for over Fifteen years and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountant Ghana. (ICAG). Vesta is well versed in financial management, corporate-wide total quality management and passionate about financial controls. She has an extensive experience in the design and implementation of strategic management systems using cross-functional teams, financial systems and internal controls, business step-up, change management, human resources management and quality assurance. Vesta also holds an Executive Master’s degree in project management from the University of Ghana.
Her background includes international exposure in developed and underdeveloped economies in addition to a working experience in private, public and developmental sectors of the economy. She has a wealth of knowledge and ability to translate financial concepts to and effectively communicate and collaborate with non-Finance Partners. She has hands-on experience and training in EC fund management requirements, rules, procedures and systems after continuously working and familiar with the EC development projects for over fifteen (15) years. She has a pleasant character and an excellent communicator with inter-personal relationship building skills and working with partners in African, European and the Americans. She is currently the Grant and Compliance Expert in Forum for Agricultural Research for Africa (FARA). Before this position, Vesta was the Grant manager in FARA, a position she held for 12 years and managed over 60 million USD Donor funding from EC, Italy, World Bank AfDB, DFID among other donor communities. She is a Council member of the University of Ghana and Chairs the University’s Finance and General-Purpose Committee. In addition, she is an Expert with the European Academy for Taxes Economic & law Institute in Germany where she lectures on Preparing for Audit in EU Development Cooperation Projects and Humanitarian Aid funding on pro-bono basis. Mrs. Vesta A. A. Nunoo has travelled on the job to over 22 African countries, 10 European countries 2 Asia countries, USA and Brazil ensuring ARD partnership and project reviews.
