Sedinam Yawa Tweneboa

Human Resources Manager

Mrs. Sedinam Yawa Tweneboa is the Human Resources Manager of the University of Ghana Enterprises Limited.  Sedinam comes to the role with over 20 years’ experience in Human Resources Management from across various organizational sectors, including Manufacturing, Consulting, Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) and Banking. 

Sedinam started her HR career in the year 2000 as a Personnel Manager with Granites and Marbles Company Limited. Between 2005 and 2009, she worked with PricewaterhouseCoopers as an HR Consultant in their consulting unit and provided HR Advisory and consultancy services to various clients, both locally and across the West Africa market.  She joined United Bank for Africa Ghana Limited (UBA) in 2009 as an Employee Relations Officer and later had a stint with World Vision Ghana in 2012 as a Learning and Development Manager. Between 2013 and 2022, Sedinam worked with Fidelity Bank as an HR Business Partner (HRBP) serving different strategic business units including Banking Operations and Technology (2013 – 2015); the Risk Management function (2015 – 2016), and the Retail Banking Division (2016 – 2021). In addition, she provided HR support to the bank’s offshore bank in Malaysia i.e. Fidelity Asia Bank (FAB).  Sedinam also had a stint with Prudential Bank Ltd as the Head of Human Resources between 2022 – 2023.  

Her experience cuts across performance management, recruitment and selection, industrial and labor relations, discipline and grievance management, job evaluation, compensation and benefits management, talent development and management, development of HR policies and procedures, organizational development and change, employee relations, HR Operations/Administration, etc

She has a degree in Management and Sociology (1999), and an MBA in Human Resources Management (2004). Both degrees were obtained from the University of Ghana. She has undertaken several certification courses in various aspects of Human Resources to complement her knowledge and experience.

Sedinam has strong leadership ideals and very objective in her affairs with people. She loves to read educative materials, write articles, and listen to current affairs and news.
